What if I stumble

And what if I fall

What if I lose my step

And I make fools of us all

Will the love continue

When the Walk becomes a crawl

What if I stumble

And what if I fall.

I think when DC Talk recorded that song, they probably had in mind the issues of what we are representing as Christians to the world.  But circumstances of late have made that chorus personal for me in the way I relate to other believers.  Particularly my family.  Why is it that I can believe the faith alone thing when it comes to salvation, but I’m so works-oriented when it comes to living life?

  1. Haven’t seen Tim in several weeks.  He was the first person I thought of when presented with the issue of turtles, though.  I remember him telling me now to tell that Timmy and not Tammy (it’s the long claws).  Has he been coming?

  2. Yeah, I’m still working on the whole public comedy thing.  I know I missed Tim.  That’s too bad, I wanted to see him speak again.  Maybe he’ll come back soon.
