This is the true joy of life:  the being used up for a purpose

recognized by yourself as a mighty one; being a force of nature

instead of a feverish, selfish little clot of ailments and grievances,

complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

  1. Where ya’ been, Penny?
That’s a pretty good quote…and I think “A Selfish Little Clot of Ailments” is a pretty good name for a punk rock group LOL
Yes, many changes going on. I didn’t want it to happen the way it has, but it was definitely time for it to happen. And yes, the music deal is at least a step somewhere. I thought the timing of it was pretty interesting…the first time I don’t play with this worship team, the next day I recieve a notice like that…it’s like affirmation from God that I made the right decision and affirmation of what thegreatknock’s dad and I talked about, how our spiritual gifts and natural talents are for the Body of Christ (capital B) and not necessarily for one local body for our entire lives. Sometimes I think we can get so wrapped up in our own business, we forget that…

  2. Growing up? Ahhh, I guess if you absolutely have to…That comment didn’t wind around randomly nearly to the level you thought it did…made perfect sense to me. Sorry about the recurring cold…if I had my mom’s recipes, I would mail you some homemade soup and a hot tottie (?sp)…I actually missed work sick on Saturday, so I feel ya…Unfortunately, I don’t have a whole lot new to report, either…
