It’s true that Norv was lacking talent to work with in Oakland and Washington (in spite of the $100 million dollar payroll there, it was misspent money), but I still have the feeling this will be like when Barry Switzer took over the Cowboys…inherited a great team, won a Super Bowl then everything fell apart. One of the doctors here at work is from Kentucky and he talks about their current college basketball coach the same way…inherited a great team, won a National Title and they haven’t been back.
And have I told you how cool it is that you talk football and actually know what you are talking about? That just impresses me greatly.
