last year it took me three days to get the smell of woodsmoke out of my hair.
maybe because it was wet when i spent a few hours huddled near the fire.
this year i don’t plan to repeat the experience.
it was an amazing adventure,
and it made a great story–
(see entry from Dec. 15, 2005)
but i think i’ll stay dry this year
and keep the mud out of my mouth
and pretend to be a grown-up.
and could somebody please say this weather needs to END!
This weather needs to END!
Hahaha!!! What a hoot of a story!! I’d rather have total body mud than be drenched in bayou water in December….bring it on babyyy..!!! Haha!!! PS. Never pretend to be a grownup on a canoeing trip! It’s wayy too much fun getting to be a kid again!! WooHOO!!
Oh…RYC…thank you! I wasn’t sure whether I should post these stories…but, I was sooo touched by these women! It was such an awesome experience! Thank you for the affirmation!!
Sadly, this year I was hoping to get covered in mud.
don’t you LIKE the fog? i love it! i wish i was back at the beach walking in it again. though i’m not saying i wouldn’t like some cold whether.
I think you should smell like wood smoke all the time…wait, hear me out on this…guys would think it smells like a BBQ cooking and would follow you around. Think about it…
I think I just found a new marketing niche’:
