interesting…is the book the post or are you simply speechless like I sometimes am when I sit down to write these things?
the word on the street is one of those running gags that come from being a goofball and meeting the occasional nut job who runs with it instead of from it :0) .our new friend taylor at church walked up and asked me what the word on the street was one day and i piped out something like “pumpernickel” instead of telling him what was going on…since then we have decided that there should be a new word on the street every day. each attaining to a new level of goofiness. unfortunately, i forget to post them regularly. taylor is an architect (which doesn’t look like it’s spelled properly to me) so he has to get in his goofiness when he can, i think.
it was Psalm 103. i am having a pretty difficult time right now to be honest. so much so that i have considered backing away from playing in the worship band and teaching the k-2 age group which are my two main areas of service. someone told me this meant i definitely should not back away, that it was a spiritual attack based in the notion that i was doing right. i don’t know for sure…so when the passage speaks of the things God does for us, and i look at my life and don’t see those specific things going on, it is pretty hard to process, all things considered. it is kind of self-pitying, but it is honest.
i notice i have a tendency to leave longer comments than your entire posts…the word on the street is…verbosity
Dad got it from who knows where.
He gets all kinds of stuff that normal people would not be able to find.
He digs a lot for infomation on the internet.
Emptiness.
