it won’t make my life easier
it won’t make me easier to live with
it won’t make me more cheerful
it won’t make me speak kindly
it won’t get me in shape
or make me thinner
it won’t make me prettier
or make me more talented
it won’t give me more time
or make me more organized
it won’t make me a better person
or give me better habits
it won’t make me happier
(by itself)
Sounds like a pretty bad thing you’re talking about.
what is it? marriage? :o)
I think that a lot of people take that reasoning to an absurd extreme.
ah, but are you sure?
Hey Sara. Thank you SO much for singing at our wedding. We watched it on tape last night and it was beautiful. My boss was at the wedding and he said the same thing. You really blessed us.
It makes me happier.=)It makes me prettier, too.lol
What is “it”?
My life has now slowed to a nicer pace. So maybe we can visit eachother?
(smile) You don’t think of yourself as a poet? I’ve read plenty of poetry on your page here, so it seemed a natural denomination for you (grin). What are your gifts, PennyDaisy? What things has God talented you with, and in which you become excited and alive and “feel the Lord’s pleasure”? If you don’t mind my asking–if such things too personal, forgive me…I can tend toward overly probing curiosities…
Yes it’s by choice. I felt like losing 40 lbs or so. Something about pool parties.
I think you’re going to have to hear about it from someone other than me. Actually I’m pretty torn on that and not exactly sure how to handle it. So you might be able to erk it out of me. I do know that I’m not going to post the details on xanga, though.
Sara,Sorry about rushing out last night. I didn’t know you were there. ugh. My eyesight is actually getting a little worse and without my glasses everything meshes together. glad you enjoyed it. Mr. Phillips has been trying to re-invent himself in Maitland so I’ll tell him you recognized him a little. You’ll see plenty of Cliff and I this upcoming year. We’re actually going to be roommates. oh lord, help us all.
Then I am weeping with you, and I will be praying for you while the tears fall down.
…and yet, in spite of all that, I still enjoy playing the blasted video game.
I know when you use that footprints thing . . .
and you think I do the weirdest things? (grin)
I go through them to compare to my logs, but I can tell how most people use them too. There are a few technical details that keep it from being perfectly precise, but I can tell you that you haven’t used it today (at least to get to my page). Today you went through your subscriptions, yesterday you used the comments list of your feedback page, and the day before yesterday was when you tried out the footprints page.
